Featuring: Dan Seaborn, Founder and President of Winning at Home
Dan Seaborn is the founder and president of Winning at Home, a Zeeland, Mich. based nonprofit organization that assists and encourages families through counseling, seminars, and other resources. Dan has authored seven books on family topics and hosts three daily radio broadcasts aired on more than 450 stations. His television spots called “Winning at Home Moments” airs daily on WOTV Channel 41.
The Marriage Rendezvous is an interactive event. Each couple will receive an audience response mechanism allowing them to choose love songs that are sung and answering questions that relate to marriage. Seaborn lives with his wife, Jane, and four kids in West Michigan. He says married couples should follow nine guidelines, such as sharing spontaneous times together. “I’ve been married 21 years and can’t believe how much fun I’m having in my marriage.” Seaborn said. “My wife could have divorced me 50 times because I’m not a perfect man. I tell everyone, ‘If sometimes you struggle, you’re normal. ‘ Come on, let’s have fun.”
Cost: $20 per couple in advance $30 per couple at the door (scholarships available)
